Off to Producer Sesssions Manchester this weelkend to nbsp;have a look at some tech gear and watch the odd tutorial from some good name producers such as Dom Kane. Anybody else going?
No, but i went to the London one a couple of weeks ago, it was really awesome.br

Particularly the Stefano Ritteri session, he’s such a cool guy and really helpful and passionate about what he’s doing.br
br
I would definitely recommend attending his session if he’s presenting at the Manchester one as well?br

Also, if you haven’t done already, be sure to have a play with the Korg Volca’s and the other awesome analogue synths that Novation. Moog etc have on display there. Was getting some seriously fat sounds out of those synths, it was a really good opportunity to try out something new and see how they sound for myself!
Hi Dave, Thanks for the heads up on what seesions to see and equipment to try out. I’m currenlty booked on Dom Kane and Shadow Child and two other which i cant just remember now (need to check my ticket lol). Should be good - then on to the aftershow party were Dom Kane is doing a DJ Set. Will post on here what i thought after the event.
Well what can i say, what a great day out. Listened to some top producers such as Dom Kane and Shadowchild. Not too much you can pick up from them in 1 hour but all the same it was a great day. Great talking to like minded people and lots of peopl from different backgrounds from Dj’s, producers and bands. Would recommend this event to anyone interested in production. The aftershow party was great too, a DJ set from Dom Kane who really does put a lot of effort into his sets.
Did you get to have a play with the hardware synths they had there - the Korg Volca’s really are something considering they only retail at just over £100!
They didnt have any Korg’s there. They had yamaha and Moog and lots of Ableton push controllers which were fun. The whole event was really good to be fair. You can learn tons more by being a member on here but it was still fun.
