Progressive Breaks

Trying to jam pack as much as I can into 1 track and keep things interesting, what do you guys think?

By the time I got this far new drum fills/more FX didn’t interest me I’d pretty much had enough! :w00t:

Let me know if I’ve accomplished my mission…

i really enjoyed that, not great at giving critique(spesh after a load of beer) but it sounded pretty great to me, i’d love pick your brains on how you write your melodies, when i try to write sweet sounding stuff it never turns out as good as this( or any of your tracks), anyway sounds like a solid track

yeah the melody and flow of the track is really good

Thanks a lot dude, or should I be thanking the budweiser ;] If i’m a bit lost with how to start a melody I use something I’ve got as the starting point (bass/chords) then shift up the notes a few octaves and start moving them around to see what sounds good… you don’t need a keyboard but it does make things faster (I haven’t used mine in a while!:w00t: )

I think I over-complicate some of my tracks by trying to write crazy riffs… sometimes it pays off, other times its 4 hours of your life spent smacking you head against a wall!!!

I was thinking about putting in a short tutorial to SA on my way of writing melodies but I’m not quite there yet myself :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks mate :]

Got a great summer vibe going on there. Melodics are brilliant you really know how to get things to sound catchy without being over repetative.

@ japwow
