one of my favourite genre’s to produce (if I’m in the right frame of mind) It’s supposed to be old skool prog breaks but it’s got some new skool elements throughout I guess… Once again no mixdown/drum fills or FX just yet so please allow the harsh volume on some parts…
enjoy and let me know what you guys think:

Definately a nice chilled out production, nice one!
Really brought me back, weird reaction but I am setting up my Sega Mega Drive now
really enjoyed that nice warm summery feel to it, thought it was a bit long but held my attention for the most part, nice melodic work as usual
@MistroPain
ha you’ve hit the nail on the head there mate, my music is massively influenced by all that is retro, computer games believe it or not are a big part of that, nothing beats the melodic bliss of Sonic 1 - Marble Zone ;]
@ekko
cheers man, my tracks recently have been running along the 10minute mark, slight feel of déjà vu… Guilty!
Sonic definately had a fantastic soundtrack back in the day.
Dont know how they did it but loads of pretty old games had pretty good soundtracks and the soundquality is far better today with some horrible soundtracks (havent played anything new in a while though…). Or maybe its just the retro feel that makes them sound better
Was always fond of Streets of Rage’s soundtrack, would even remix them if I knew how
