Progressive House 19 Mins?

i thought the progressive house HTSL was way too short and no disrespect, but a bit effortless… it kind of seemed like hey didn’t even want to make it??

and 19 mins compared to 3 hours in Tech Trance?

don’t think it takes Deadmau5 & Pryda 19 mins to make a song

again, no disrespect , love the tutorials

the progressive house HTSL deadmau5 was the first ever “how to sound like” if i am correct and phil does say that this is a quick introduction into this sound.

not putting the deadmau5 down in any way but his productions are very basic and the tutorial gave the relevant info, the deadmua5 magic comes with his arrangement skills he can take a bunch of raw saw and squares add a touch of delay or reverb and make something that sounds huge

i would love a huge indepth progressive house tutorial though

^ Me too!

I would love to have a proper Progressive House Tutorial.  What I find funny is that I keep hearing Deadmau5 mentioned when people speak about Progressive House.  I actually don’t think he has a progressive house sound at all.  To my ears he has more of an Electro House kind of sound.  Even when he makes a more proggy sounding track (mostly due to the more filtered synth sound) it still feels and sounds like an Electro House styled track but with a few proggy elements thrown in.

He is more widely known for his electro, however his first break was in progressive. This was one of his biggest songs at first and one of my favorites of his.
