Hey !
I am working on a progressive house track atm.
And I am almost done with my arrangement, I will just add more FX to the synths and maybe 2 “small breaks”.
I would love if you could give me some guidelines how I can improve my arrangement
Notice that I havent done any EQ,mixing and mastering.
You can also give me crititcs overall, it will help alot. (But not about mastering, mix,eq)
I hope you did understand my question.
Heres my track: SoundCloud - Hear the world’s sounds
I don’t listen to your track, cause I’m at work, but i will give the advice… to carefully listen to a lot pro tracks.
There is always about much the same structure like this:
1min Intro
30-45 sec Break
max 1min drop
1min Break
1min Outro…
And most important, try to change every 8 bars something… like add hats, a new top line, new instruments or remove something! It’s pretty simple… and yeah be creative… use fx, low pass filters to keep the listener’s attention.
A great way to practice arrangement is find a professional song that you like the sound of and put it in an audio track in your own mix and just follow how they set up their builds and drops and breaks and what not. br
