Progressive House

This track is still in early stages and I’ve just put a few ideas together to see what you guys think, sorry sounds may be too loud etc. no mixdown or effects yet (the 2parts I always run away from) Have a listen, enjoy and let me know what you think:

It’s pretty long too, could do with cutting it down :w00t:

This is before mixdown!? Nicely done dude, sounds pretty clean!

And you had me listening intently for the whole ten mins!

Really good track fella. I think your mix down should be easy enough as it already sounds pretty close.

It does need FX thoug, like at the start of the break at around 4mins, it’s missing something as it sounds too empty at the moment.

You’ll have a cracker here when it’s done.

Very good track! Maybe you could shorten a few sections, but then again there is plenty stuff going on to keep it interesting, and if you add some effects it will be perfect. Maybe make the kick slightly more prominent?

@MistroPain

I thought I’d got outta the realm of making my tracks stupidly long but now I’m trying to cram as much in there as possible to keep the listener interested from start to finish…

thanks mate :slight_smile:

@jonsloan

Nice one man, that big gap is screaming for FX!!! You’ll notice a pattern in most things I post and that is lack of FX / drum variation / fills… I leave those mainly till the end, by that time I’ve had enough of listening to my own tracks!! :w00t:

Cheers man

@ottovideo

This track is definitely one I’ll be seeing to the finish dude, so I’ll be dealing with my FX etc. I’m gonna have problems shortening it cus I get too picky about removing elements (it hurts too much!!!) I agree with the kick getting lost in the BG… Problem is I used parallel compression to get that PHAT-ness and even if I put the volume up it starts to distort!!!..

Thanks for the comments
