well im not a pro… its down to personal preference for anyone… thats just how i like it…
also since everyone masters tracks louder these days, I cant blame my ears for not liking frequencies above 16khz it hurts :pinch:
I figure the louder the volume or the higher the frequency, I’ll be deaf before christmas this year lol

the harsh freqs are from 3-5k
so maybe attenuate these freqs a little say -1dB

also i totally understand for your tracks you like to cut 15K
but i would maybe practise not doing this so as to understand how to master better and get a better persecutive of the whole freq image and relationships that occur in harmonics
but by all means do it on your tracks if you like.
well really its because the human ear cannot hear anything above 18khz( I personally probably can’t hear over 17khz) so cutting anything above 16khz would not make a huge difference in any of my tracks.

regardless if you can hear them there are freqs there that interact with freqs bellow that
