Hi,
Does anybody know or could Phil Johnston explain, why he re-samples the synth stabs in the Deep house tutorial? I’m not quite sure what the advanatge is and why he doesn’t simply continue to use the soft synth in the mix channel.
Really helpful vid by the way. Would love to see more of this type of genre explored. Maybe some sound design tutorials for deep house.

Just to add them to my sample library for easy access… sometimes easier to throw a sample in to simpler rather than load a synth and find the patch or reprogram it.
I agree would like more deep house tutorials added the likes of art department, maceo plex and hot natured type stuff would be great!
