firsty just want to thank and congratulate Sonic Academy on a fabulous easy to use synth well within the price range of newbies to producing like me… so many synths are priced far to high in my opinion !
my only question is are the drum sounds tuned ? in other words if i hit E is the kick drum actually playing an E ?? this will help me out so much with regards to matching the Kick drum to the key of my track !

no i dont think they are… i also dont think you should match the note of drum sounds to your key.
drum sounds are normally created by sweeping a pitch from on high point to a lower pitch so they dont always have an exact pitch.
Its a much better idea to just match them using your ears only.
