Quick Question

WTF IS GLITCH-STEP ???

Phil go buy yourself some bottled water dude the lack of it over christmas has obviously effected the brain heheheheheheh

I think its a way of keeping fans of both electro and dubstep from getting upset about Skrillex being neither :stuck_out_tongue:

Isn’t he the guy who claims not to use Massive but you can smell it a mile off hahahaha

The new ‘cool’ genre fad of the moment i imagine, seems to be a new one every 6 months or so.

The next one will be something like ClownStep or DubCore or something stupidly named like that.

clownstep has already been done about 8 years ago drum&bass scene, two guys that i went to college with called them selfs the Clownsteppers and made some really ****ed up music lol

So here is the first of many parts explaining how to build the basis for your track. Get ready for many many distortion units and lots of knob tweaking as we devastate what was once a simple saw wave and turn it into a force that could only be dealt with by Dumbledore himself (…yes i got the Harry Potter box set for Xmas)

LOL

Amazes me that just by using lots of gating on a track it therefor gets given a whole new genre name.

Yup, I think the same about deep and minimal house. Sounds like minor detail to me, but probably means the world to someone that is into it.

I’m personally very pleased too see this. I was looking forward to those nasty electro bassline from french electro and they seem to find their spot in the demo song. Don’t be such big critics on the genre and stuff, i’m just happy this tutorial has arrived!

Yeah man, 100%. The tutorial is a sound that is great to learn. Just that the namey boll*x in dance music is tiresome sometimes!

Someday genres will be very very very confusing.

Example:
-Dude , cool dubstep track
-No man it's prostep cubecore funky fresh house
(and i know it makes no sense)
