Hi /PPI need some input on a type of remix. I currently make (try to make)nbsp;a lot of redrum and breakbeat remixes of pop songs without having the stems of the track. I want to make sure I am going about it the right way or if they is a better way to make the redrum. I take the original 4/4 track say…David Guetta - Titanium or Zedd Spectrum and cut the low end out and add a breakbeat kick that is not 4/4 in its place. My problem is when I cut the low end I loose some of the richness of the orginal sound, but this is the only way I know to do it. I know making breakbeat remixes and redrums are possible with out stems becausenbsp;I find them on soundcloud all day long. /PPMy question is what is the best way to remove a 4/4 kick drum and replace it with a different broken beat kick drum and still have the bass line and other non kick low end? I have also phase inverted the kicks as well. Any other ideas? /PPExamples/PPA href="SoundCloud - Hear the world’s sounds"http://soundcloud.com/dj-tweezy/zedd-ft-matthew-koma-spectrum/A/PPA href="SoundCloud - Hear the world’s sounds"http://soundcloud.com/originaldjhero/laidback-luke-feat-wynter/A
you could create a Ghost kick track that is triggering a gate, compressor or Filter sidechain and only getting rid of the kicks in the tracks.br

Would leave the bits in between the kicks intactbr

And that my friend is why you are the man!!! Best idea I have heard yet. Thank you.
