Is there any way to record just a single channel in arrangement view while you listen to the rest of the track in the background? Lets say you want to adjust the cutoff filter on a synth but instead of going in and arrange it manually with the mouse you control it with your MIDI controller. Sometimes this is much easier than fiddle around and doing it “live” has its charm as well. In some of your recent tutorials you have recorded the entire track from the session view into the arrangement view and done a live performance. But I would like to just record one channel/instrument while I listen to the other instruments in the background to get things sound correct (entire track is already laid out in the arrangement view). I can’t work out how to record just one channel. Instead it records all tracks or just not doing what I want it to do. br
