Recording VST generated sounds

Hey guys i want to record some sounds i made with my vsts but have no knowledge on how to do it i want to put it on simpler to start layering it etc

Thanks

Open up an audio track and configure its input to your VST intrument track and then record. Once you have the audio file recorded it drop the audio file into simpler.

If it’s a synth sound I suggest you leave the filter and volume envelope wide open to get the full sound sampled.  You could then tweak the filter and volume envelope to get to the particular tone or shape you wanted.

A few of the tutorials on here touch on this.

Sorry I don’t remember exactly which one but I think a few of them mention. Actually try the Swedish House tutorial I believe they sampled some sounds from the Minimoog and through them into simpler.

solo the track you want to record, set a new audio track to resampling, put into in mode and press record
