Remix parts from big artists

How do you go about asking for remix parts from big artists without getting laughed at? For example, I think every man and his dog has done a remix of nearly every Adele song that I’ve heard, dubstep mixes, trancey mixes. Surely not all of these people can know her or her producer personally, but they manage to get the parts. So who would I need to get in touch with to get remix parts? Just the label? Don’t wanna make a d**k of myself by asking the wrong person. Any advice is much appreciated, cheers

Beatport and Juno often post parts for remixes. Most remix competitions are listed at http://www.remixcomps.com. Sometimes you get big artists. Hope this helps

Yeah that helps mate, thanks, I’ll have to keep checking that page

Not a free site as such as you need to make a ‘donation’ but there is some great stuff on here:-

Wierd as I can not find anyhing on their website about the legality - of usage

Besides the obvious dodgy stuff like the defected album; someone is leaking some pretty high quality ‘studio’ stems to the site admin. Other pellas are taken from remix comps I am guessing…

I sure don’t recommend using any of the pellas/samples in your own tracks if you are thinking of getting any financial gain from them - but most of you know copyright rules better than I do.
