Anyone got any recommendations for any plugs that remove crackle from old vinyl recordings etc?
Audacity - ok not a plugin as such but has a noise removal opton which is pretty good
i used to use steinbergs clean5 its not a plugin its a full audio restoration suite i used to use it to ripp vinyl and record mixes split into track and burn to cd
it was not perfect though and some crackles were still audible but it made them a hell of a lot better it was yrs since i used it though and theres probablly better on the market now

Come to think about it SoundForge noise remover is supposed to be one of the better ones but that costs
why would you want to remove crackle?
