REsampling

Hey All

When you bounce down to a new audio track how on earth to you save just that specific new sample out to your library…rackin me head:blush:

thanks

J

Might be too simple if I’ve misunderstood the Q Mate… Apologies if its not this.

But I usually just:

Create a Folder on your HD called - “Hindsite Samples”

Select Whatever to Bounce.

Decide to include FX or not.

Hit Bounce or Export.

Select File save location and navigate to the Hindsite Samples Folder.

Import from that Location when you want to use something in your Sampler etc…

NB… If its something like a Kick, I’ll usually bounce a Bar & then chop it up into single hits & use the 3rd one. Be aware that things can get clipped at the start.

if you’re on Ableton you can just drag it (Midi file, sample, whatever) to the folder you want it in and drop it there. Straight from the arrangement or session view. All within the DAW itself. Dead easy

I would suggest cropping and renaming before you do that though.

Thanks guys …great help
