I have to fly down south to San Diego tomorrow for an interview (I am near San Francisco for those of you familiar with the geography) and I am having a bad case of insomnia. So I just decided to open up ableton and just throw something together in hopes id fall asleep. And in about 30-45 mins I came up with this.

Now, don’t get me wrong, the record labels aren’t gonna be lining up to sign my 1:30 synth lead with a drum loop over it. But to tell you the truth, I am actually proud of it.
The reason being was because the chord progression and structure was so out of the box for me but I love the way it came out. lots of dissonance.
Anyway, do you guys ever moments like this? when you are just not really trying to do something and something comes out really good? I might use the synth riff in a future song!

still some nice elements that go well together… sounds pretty good man
