VLX-1
Our new reverberation plug-in VLX-1 was modeled after a well known and widely spread low-budget 9,5-inch reverberation unit produced in the late 80s and early 90s for small studios with limited budget. As most of these vintage devices, also the VLX-1 is a mono-to-stereo reverb and features the very same sound of the original unit using convolution processing. The idea behind the VLX-1 is pure nostalgia and brings one of the formerly most used reverberation units inside the DAW-world.

Check the manufacturer website. Mostly the more expensive plug-ins use the USB iLok protection.

Don’t own it yet, but I am in LOVE with Gladiator. Great synth…
Do they do boxed versions and DL versions of all of these?
Are there any good savings to be made?

Cool!
Ok I haven’t tried a lot of reverb vst plugins, but of the few below I’ve demo’d I liked Urs Heckmans UHBIK-A reverb (which comes with 8 other effects like delay, flanger, phaser, etc). It has great presets for different kinds of reverbs like plate as well as many spaces like Hall. [url]404 Page Not Found | u-he
A close 2nd is Rob Papen’s RP-Verb which does things differently–lots of modulated reverb presets for a totally different sound.
Lexicon’s LXP reverb suite sounds good but has a limited number of creative presets…more for mastering gurus, not as flexible for mixing fx as much.
I got Focusrite’s reverb with my Saffire 6, but it’s pretty pathetic.
Also used Apple’s AU reverb in Live and Ableton’s own–which isn’t bad (albeit ugly).
