Listening to this new Hardwell track and I’m wondering if at around 1 minute in when the kick comes back theres a really heavy deep pulse…is that just side chain he has going or a reverse kick as well??
Could be the side chain or filter automation. Don’t think it’s necessarily critical to the build tho.
I’m not necessarily talking about the build but when the actual melody comes back in theres just a real heavy deep pulsing in my sub and I figured he’s either side chaining a bass line or its some type of reverse kick…
On my speakers i just hear the kick and bass… the bass is quite prominent in certain parts of the bar as it falls in between the kick. so it sounds to me like the normal kick/bass side chain.
Maybe your headphones are busted?
