Revolverb has f****d my project

im really really p****d right now :angry:

i spent the whole day on sunday messing about with a track and now i cant open the project in ableton. the tune was half decent

when i try to open the file i get an error saying ā€œfailed to open fileā€ which 100% certain its to do with the revolverb vst as i had this problem a while back.

i then click ok and ableton says ā€œa serious problem has occured, live will shut down after this message box is closedā€

ive tried openingĀ other projects and they open fine. a bug report has been sent to ableton

has anyone had this problem before?

is there a way to fix it and save my project?

and please dont say i should off bought a mac

Try deleting revolverb, it may open the project then.

Im glad you got it working man. Are you on Mac or PC?



I would check out Convolverb dude. And TBH, Abletonā€™s reverb is great. You can put it in High Quality mode to get a better sound.

Iā€™m on pc, there is definately something up with that revolverb IMOā€¦ But those impluse responses sound so good



I may even be up for spending a bit of cash!



I like using the ableton reverb but the impulses I canā€™t recreate

I had the same problem with revolverb, i opted for this on the recommend of a few people on here and itā€™s worked a charm.

revolverb crashes my pc, its a bit unstable. Tells me no mayching CPU or IPP or something.



Look and the webpage and it tell u it does no support AMD processers I think it must be a dated VST.



And btw is says it dont work with AMD but doesā€¦ so yeah dated it must be if they havent even updated that on their web page

it can crash if you use an impulse response - save it, then move the position of impulse file!



there are other convolution reverbs out there if you continue to have problems but no more free ones that i know of that are any use
