My latest track, featuring ANA, Hive, Dune2 and Sylenth1br
Hi mate, different type of electronic track, some cool elements like the vocals, I would personally ditch the trancey lead sound that comes in first at 1:20 and go for something natural, I think it would accompany the general vibe much better, but this is to personal taste of course. br
br
good work so far, possibly add some more incidental fx throughout too. br

This has more of a feel of some earlier styles. br

The kick is too lost in the track for my tastes. is there any sidechain here at all? The track doesn’t seem to pump. For the abstract style gone for it works but!

Not sure what you mean by ‘natural’ but thanks for the feedback. I wanted the trancey lead sound as it’s track 2 on a collection that includes old-school trance and progressive trance tracks, so that sound fits naturally with the rest.

I kept the kick down to that level as the other tracks in the collection (this is track 2) try to get away from the old-school pumped, kick-heavy feeling that has pervaded EDM for too many years now, IMO. It’s 2015 and trance styles are being taken in different directions these days. Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated.
