Rubberbandits are from a place in Ireland called Limerick. Limerick has a desperate reputation. Its a nice city… but there are some really deprived & lawless estates. Theres loads of fueds between Gypsies & Knackers (Chav’s) over drugs etc…
13 year olds going around with Guns & vests. Bulletproof BMW Jeeps, that the Police confiscate & then use to patrol the estates! 
Some crazy sh!t there. Loads of Killings. The Rubberbandits kinda send all that up.
Mate of mine is a Journalist in Limerick. One of the Guys in the Paper had to interview them. He was told to wait outside some place. After about 30mins waiting, a car screeched up. The Rubberbandits jumped out with plastic bags on their heads - with a shotgun & threw yerman in the boot.
They sped around the place, doing handbreak turns & everything. After a bit they stopped & pulled him out. They were in a old warehouse in the middles of nowhere.
They made him sit down in a chair & said “Right… What do ya want to know?”

Yeah… They are. Very funny when said in a Knacker accent - YOH-kes. You’d have tp hear it.
Also called Jiggers down the country. Think they’re trying for a Xmas No.1. Definitely gonna support them.
They had a TV show too… didnt see it… But they tour around the place with a full band doing all their tunes. They’re really talented. Funny & good music.
