Sample Pack Production

Hello Phil and Guys,br
br
I have been lucky and an Audio Production Company invite me to do a Sample Pack for them, I havent open my Ableton and Logic nearly a yearbr
br
So far i started yesterday i create some synth sounds with ANA - Thank you Phil - Vanguard and Sylenth1.br
br
I started with few drums, but it taking a bit too long, the thing i did was i took my sampled from 808/909 and put some overdrive, EQ, Compress, I know also how to synthesis drums, but I need to speed up on the processbr
so, br
br
1st What do you suggest for synthesis DRUMS?br
br
2nd. Is it OK using 808/909 pass some effects and claim that are mine DRUMS ?br
br
Also They ask me to do add the DRUMLOOPS on a .rx2 format filebr
br
3rd. no big fan of the EX24 from Logic, Is that for what is for ? isnt ?br
br
Many Thanks to All !!br

Hey.br
br
With synth :br
br
"the kick can be programmed in a synthesizer by employing a short decay combined with an immediate attack stage. Typically, a 100 Hz sine wave produces the best starting point for a techno kick with a positive pitch EG set a fast attack and a quick decay to modulate the oscillator. Although using a pitch envelope produces the best results, if the synth doesn’t offer one, a self-oscillating filter will produce the requisite sound, and the decay can be controlled with the filters envelope."br
br
Add reverb compressor Gate.br
br
Orbr
br
Layering Kicks :br
br
"Typically, the process begins by choosing a three kick drum samples based on their different sonic characteristics. Typically, the first kick chosen is the char- acter kick. This is the kick that displays the overall tonal quality and shape the producer wants, whilst the other two kicks are often employed to augment this initial kicks tone, attack, decay or depth. For example, the second kick may exhibit a deep heavy sub-bass body that could be used to enhance the body of the original, whilst the third could be employed to enhance the transient or decay of the original kick."br
br
Care to the Phase…br
br
Easier way to create Drum it’s to have an Hardware drum station like Vermonabr
Here i have 8 channel with for exemple :br
Kick : “Decay-Pitch-Bend-Time-Wave-Noise-Attack” Easy to work. But you need a good audio convert to have a nice quality. You also can add some effect that aren’t present here as Reverb, Compressor, EQ.br
br
br
br
Good luck.br
