Purchased yesterday, and it seems to distort everything i’ve tried it on, and i’m not even opening it up that much, the sausage doesn’t even have a grimace!!!
Are there certain sounds or wave forms it doesn’t work on?

I don’t want to sound like a ****head . but why did you buy something that u haven’t Demo it or had some basic Knowledge about those plug ins .
Just because Axwell , Laidback Luke and all those chump’s use it . doesnt mean is going to do miracles your mix. there is many factors that counts when buying plug ins. the way how you mix your music to the way you use the plug ins.
maybe u should learn your basic Plug ins first before adventuring to waste money. IMO

Try lowering the gain knob (the little button next to the green light) and then cranking some more of the fattener.
You also don’t need to use the fattener to get good use out of this. I have tried using just the color knob with a vocal and it did a nice job there too.
There are many ways to use this plugin just like all the others. You just need to play with them a little bit.

Mate, it was $25, it’s not like i went out and bought Komplete 7 before trialling! I agree with you 100% but seeing as it’s cheap as chips and has some good feedback i bought it. No big deal, had a bit of a mess around and getting some nice sounds now
this really is a plugin to use in moderation and not drive too much.

BURNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!
Hey guys I’m fairly new to Logic. I’ve got the Sausage Fattener running well in FL Studio but when I installed it on my Mac I can’t find it on Logic. I added a new track with Software Instruments and when I right clicked on the Insert to pick it I didnt see it. Am I doing something wrong?
did you install the audio unit version?
honestly I don’t know. I bought it a while ago and I sent a message to Tailored Noise and they sent me another download link via email. It showed a link for the Mac Version or Windows Version so I clicked Mac, obviously, and when I opened the file it just said Sausage Fattener Installer.pkg so I doubleclicked and when I chose the destination it only allowed me to install it onto the Mac Disk or onto one of those desktop hard drive things.br
br
EDIT: I opened Logic and searched on my Harddrive but nothing shows up.
One of my fav plugins. Use it very subtly and reduce gain if its too distorted. Great on drum BUS and baselines.
Even just having it on the chain without bringing any of the levels up bring a nice warm sound to whatever you’re sticking it on
