Really enjoyed this tutorial, thank you Jamie. I don’t read notation, and music theory, though I have learned a lot recently (specially thanks to Sonic Academy), it can be somewhat aloof. It was explained crystal clear and really enjoyed it!
I agree about the Scale plug in, it’s like driving an automatic, where’s the fun in that?!

All these music theory tuts are top notch, can’t wait for the next ones. May I suggest you talk a little about modulation (and changing keys minor to major/vice versa) between verse/chorus for those interested in more harmonically oriented genres? Also, if you could go deeper into modes (modal mixture and all that fuzz) it would be great. Again, props to you man, keep it going.
