i been wondering if its pointless for me to buy a Traktor audio 10 if i already have a serato SL1.
atm i use a APC 40 and ableton but sometimes i just want to just mix some tracks on my decks.
yah if u have serato then traktor is pointless for you. unless u for some reason wanna learn both.

Sorry as I am a bit of a newbie when it comes too digital mixing - can you not use serato with the bridge to link with Ableton

EDIT: Also, my picture is bigger than yours (apparently).
I used to know this hip hop dj who used two 1200’s with serato timecode vinyls (basically two blank records act as a controller for your mp3s). He was insane on it, it’s pretty much just like djing with vinyl. Scratching and everything works just fine.
But back on topic yeah there’s no reason to get both, they do the same thing. I think serato’s a bit better though, but I’m not really experienced enough to tell.
well i use bridge (2x1200 and ableton with apc 40) and its alright, first of all if u want to use a loops from ableton you have to beatgrid all tracks and loops you want to use,
if u have SL1 u can only have 2 decks, deck A and B and loop on A or B so it means that u cannot use it on separate deck C. loop have to be synced to deck A or B if track from deck A stop synced loop with go nuts :S
so i was wondering if traktor works better with loops and stuff

use ableton and have 8 audio tracks and 8 midi tracks and welcome to the future!
just make sure your laptop can handle it!
yeah this is how i DJ normaly but its nice to play on vinyl decks sometimes.

Yeah i agree, that’s why i use 3 -4
thats what i mean and thats why i posted this topic, i still dont no if i should buy traktor like audio 10 to plug in my vinyls and other stuff
