Short tech house track for DVD trailer

We’re putting together a trailer for the martial arts training DVD we produced

You can buy it from Amazon!

Anyway, I produced the music for it and have now done similar but more energetic piece for the trailer we’re cutting.

All comments useful remembering this is a short track for use on a trailer about 1:30 to 2 minutes long.

Though I might turn it into a full track later I think. Anyway, enough guff, here’s the track:

That’s lovely dude, roller!

Very good Jon - Love the synth & the glitchy fills

Had to do this one quick so it’s all samples and loads of FX to keep it interesting. I just manually chopped up the drum parts to make them a bit different. Might try that more in the future.

Thanks for the quick listens. Hopefully we’ll have the trailer up on Youtube next week and then you’ll be able to see me being smacked around the face a lot. Some of you will enjoy that probably

I’m buying extra popcorn as I type

Excellent little taster really cool

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Seriously though, if you practice martial arts and want good drills for close range (realistic) work, then Don’s instruction is great.

I uusally find runing away easier :stuck_out_tongue:

Self protection =

1st choice - not being there

2nd choice - running away when you see trouble

3rd choice - hitting them to give you time to run away

absolutely nothing wrong with running away when you have the choice to do so. In fact, it’s always the best option given the prevalence of knives and mates of the attacker you didn’t see who twat you when you’re not looking.

cool stuff mate, i think you should make a full track from it

pretty cool mate

cool tune. very slick

cheers mate

Those stabs are wicked! Really cool

Yeah really enjoyed this Jon … makes me wanna punch and kick someone in a funky way!

ha thanks Gav

My vote is that you turn this into a full track, I think it is cracking.

Nice… love the old skool stabs,
