Can any fellow Ableton user tell me how to side chain on a section of a track that doesn’t have a kick drum. When the kick is in i have no problem side chaining but i want, for an example a section where there is a drop and i want to side chain a riser fx. I could of swore i’d seen a tutorial on it yesterday but i can’t seem to find it.br

Easy solution is to make a duplicate track of your kick with the volume turned all the way down and then just take the audio from that track for your side chain selection
Well i did just figure out how to do it by reducing the volume of the kick track for that section but your idea is better.br
