There is a difference between the BBC reporting claims made by a pressure group and the BBC claiming something is a fact.

You guys should read Freakanomics - a great book on how stats are often bollocks.
Yeah it’s a great book. But my favourite one of that type is still The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell.
