So what track made you want or inspire to produce?

What is inspirin me right now today is jeff mills. Last week it was surgeon. The only thing that has really caught my attention from recent is T47.

this made me crossover from hiphop to dance

and also this made me mental in the days

That small shiny box with flashing lights is what got me into producing. And Little Boots’ performance on this show is what got me interested in the first place. I was fascinated by it.

Funnily enough I haven’t picked it up in about a year now since getting heavily into Ableton.

Been thinking about this today… I think some credit has to go to Criminal Gangs, Chemistry Students & a certain Japanese Car manufacturer :)

Yep it helped but I think that they found the music tbh

Waths that man?

Are you saying… we found the music?

Agree with that. We found the music AND the rest :hehe:

Wicked tunes lads, this is exactly what I was looking for, trying to find those old forgotten classics.

That neuromancer track mussi is awesome man. Liking it big style mate :D. As you said man, it’s just raw - something that’s been lost down the line.

Ha mine probably wasn’t the inspiration you were after. Still it is what it is.

Nah man, I liked it. I wasn’t looking for beats, I was just looking for music that got people inspired to make their own stuff

I am actually getting into his productions lately . just love his music .

LIFELIKE ROCKS !!

Too bad most of the young uns these days don’t know most of these old tunes getting posted.  Great stuff

If I’m totally honest the first album that made me want to produce my own music was The Prodigy’s ‘Music For The Jilted Generation’. I still listen to it now and hear things I’ve never heard before in it. Genius stuff.

Far too many tracks for me too mention

David Bowie - before Let’s Dance

The Clash

Velvet Underground

Throbbing Gristle

Jeff Mills (Actually anything from Detroit at the time)

Aphex Twin

Cabaret Voltaire

Kraftwerk

D.A.F

Cool topic…

Its interesting, my desire too produce wasnt exactly the result of listening to music I like. It came more so as a result of me seeing so many “artists” I consider talentless or beyond cheesy making it big. For the sake of not being negative I wont list them off (just yet), but seeing how some of these clowns made it big it really got me thinking that if those asshats can do it, so can I.

Not too mention I love music ahahahaha. If I had to pin my motivation to produce too a track I would probably say “Vandals” by Dirtyphonics.

For me the tracks are a bit older.
