Solo'ing midi/audio clips in ableton

i’ve seen in some of the tutorials when they show you examples,they click on say the solo on the kick and have the solo on on another clip i.e the melody.

but when ever i try and do this it only solo’s 1 clip and if i click on another it switches to that one. is there a setting i haven’t got turned on or am i being stupid.

im using ableton 7.0.3 on a pc

Click on the first track you want to solo & when your going to click on the next solo, hold the ctrl key while clicking on it & so on for as many tracks as you like :slight_smile:

Go into your Ableton preferences, select Record/Warp/Launch and deactivate the Exclusive Solo button.
