One annoying thing about working alone is there is no bloody input! I’m in the process of a making a track and I’m not 100% happy with it… I want it to sound more driving, more melodic etc, can you all please have a qucik listen, its only 3min worth at the mo and tell me any tips, ideas or to bin or carry on with?? It the one below in my signature!
Thanks in advance
ya know ive only been doing this 4 month, but i can give my opinion on it!!
i do like it. really crisp n clear and lush melodies in it!
i would sidechain the delays sweeps for the pumpin effect.
maybe it needs just some harder sounds or a harder bass. some kind of j.o.c techyness
to give it that edge.
might go wel!!

j.o.c techyness?? u got any examples of this? youtubes links or such like? cheers for the feedback mate
hard to explain like when i dont actually know the sounds,
have a listen to this.
what i think i mean is like give it a slightly darker edge. with that vocal hit that plays at the start and all through the intro and that percussive loop sound

yeah I do like that jon o’bir tune. its making me think some more driving percussion wouldnt go a miss… I want mine more driving before I move onto the brake down the main melody just not sure how to bring out the drive, I thought maybe change the base drum or maybe a harder bass… just dunno…
