**Sonic Academy ANA Synth**

We are getting closer to the release our new synth. so I thought i should give you some info and answer any questions you might have.

The Synth is Called ANA (Analog, Noise, Attack) In reference to the 3 OSC types

Osscilators

OSC 1&2 (Analog) are 8 voice Analog style Oscs with Detune. There are also some Digital sounding waveforms for more complex possibility.

OSC 3 (Noise) is a sample based noise OSC that has various harmonicly rich and noisey samples from Ultra detuned megasaws to Granular Voice sounds. Great for adding complex harmonics and overtones to OSC 1 & @

OSC 4 (attack) This osc is a collection of short attack samples to give your sounds bite. There are attacks from real instruments like Bass Guitars, Pianos etc… this is great for adding something extra to the attack of your sounds… especially useful for Basses and Plucked sounds.

There are 13 Different Filters

Sonic Academy ANA Demos by Philterino

Looks great Phil - looking forward to taking a closer look. I take that you will be doing a few Tuts on it once its released?

Keep up the good work

Yeah absolutely… tuts galore

Nice

Sounds great

oooooo

how exciting. how much will it be phil?

woops… got 2 excited and went straight to the sounds that i didnt even read the price section :stuck_out_tongue:

forget that last post!

Really looking forward to this and cant wait to see how it all works. Phil are you going to be using this synth as a primary now and dropping sylenth?

Yeah we will be using it as our main synth in all future tutorials.

we will provide presets for some of our previous tutorials.

I know it could potentially annoy any users who have bought sylenth but we really feel going forward offering a cheaper synth that we can provide full support to is a better long term option.

How will it do on CPU’s Phil?

Will it be a hungry synth?

Its a bit more than sylenth but not much and theres still a bit more optimization to do.

If you use a ton of voices and the chord hold it can get up there like any other synth.

yea i’m looking into it. i just have so many midi parts in my track and i don’t feel like bouncing them down or converting them into audio cause i make changes all the way up to the end of the track.

i understand ways how to limit your cpu’s like putting effects on send tracks and stuff like that but i just use alot of midi. will defo look into getting some more cpu.

Cheers phil

are there any more plans for new software from you guys, like something similar to melodyne etc.

LOL

We have a couple more plugins in the design phase. Nothing like melodyne. It’s an extreemly Complicated peice software.

Maybe in a couple of years
