After i lost my job at christmas i’ve been trying to get my bills down as much as i can and i’ve just realized that joining SA and canceling my Music mags i’ll be saving £275.53 a year and still be learning more as in all reality i could never be bothered to read half of what was in the mag.
anyone else actually thought that we get access to everything on this site for the price of one monthly music mag
Fully agree mate, thats what i was trying to say in the HTSL Breaks forum when a small handfull of people were slating what they get for their money with this site.
For example if you think you learn more here than the mags, then just think how it felt for me paying £3.1k on a Uni course (not to include the £6k grants/loans to live on) that was only 2 days a week (apparently this is full time?) and learning sweet FA.
Hence me leaving after i’d completed the year feeling rather p*ssed off.
I then found this site and lets just say, why try the rest when this is clearly the best.
Value for money, exceptional advice and tutorials from exceptional producers. Look at the producton quality of the Kansas City Shuffle and try tell me that isn’t better production skills than some of the bigger known house producers.
i personally think that the quality of the tuts on this site are great. in the past i’ve paid for the pointblank stuff and thats over 50 bucks a pop or was and is complete crap
i totally agree too i get the magazines, and you can compare them to SA, i learned alot more abt making tracks in 6 months with SA that over a years subscription of magazines, so keep up the good work Sonic Academy.
cheers david
YAY!!
