hi all,does any1 have any ideas on a good internal sound card for a windows pc

Any special reason for going internal? I use a desktop PC and an external interface.

Also they come in a range of prices, it might be a good idea to think of an approx budget.

yeas but doesnt an external sound card ,still get its signal from the internal card.thus if ure internal 1 is weak it will still cause quality problems?

def not. external cards are usually firewire or usb. which plug directly into the motherbo.



the problem that I have with an internal card, is the inputs/ouputs…



the ammount of inputs/outputs you need in a studio is not going to cut it on an internal card.

What you need is an audio interface. I use a motu 1208 mk3. Basically has a soundcard and an external box that you plug all your sh** into :slight_smile:
