Dunno if anyone can help, bit of a long shot but I;m having sound problems on my laptop. When I audio knotrol 1 is hooked up there is a horid crackling and buzzing noise coming out.
This only happens on my laptop and not when the audio kontrol one is hooked up to my desktop… anyone have any idea what could be causing the issue?
Correction… only seems to happen when my lap top is on main supply… strange and annoying
This is a ground loop issue,
you can get a ground loop isolator

Some people stick electrical tape over the ground pin, but its not advisable.
