Anyone notice all the spammers on the site at the moment?
They are making loads of new profiles, with links in the sigs for baby strollers, kitchen cabinets & laptops.
A couple of them have replied in threads…
The amount of women registering is enough to raise an eyebrow of suspicion FFS! :laugh:

The reason why they do it is not for people to read, it is to get a better google ranking, the more links to your website means you get a better ranking. Google bots will count them up when sweeping the internet.
yeah people do this because they are link farming.
the more links you have to your site from other sites… the higher your google index.
this is a constant problem on all forums. people creating accounts just to post up links to crap/spam websites. its a way to make money for people that do this kinda stuff.
link farming is 1 of the big problems with the internet…
ever search for something on google and click the top link and it goes to a page and says 0 results found or its just like a piece of content with the exact search terms?
