Did anyone see the amazing documentry about steve winwood last night ?
i had no idea he did what he did apart from 80’s nostalgia stuff wow this guy was doing what were trying to do …30 odd years before you even thought off offbeat trippy stuff

didnt see it, i know hendrix was a huge fan of his. hendrix wanted to play with him but was too embarrassed to call him cos he didnt think he was good enough to play with winwood… :w00t: lol
i love Keep On Running. Great drums on it. I think i read in Claptons autobiography that winwood got famous around the london scene cos he was the best at “doing a ray charles”. if you listen to his voice he does actually sound quite alot like charles.
