I already used the search function but nothing useful came up so I already apologize if this was asked before.
I’m after a good effective way to stretch my vocals in length but not just lowering the speed
I have a diva acapella here and need her to hold the highest tone for about 15 seconds. if i chop the vocals apart and stretch the last bit that i want to be lasting and loop it, it has some strange clicking on it i can’t get rid off.
it sounds quite pitched which i don’t want to have as i am aiming for a natural sound.
i’ve also tried to put some heavy reverb and delay on it but the vocal is pinching out and gets to weak and wet …
my bad, this should be moved to the Subscriber’s section, please
Don’t think it works like that. You can try of course.
You want to be able to get something like the same effect as in Be from the Swedish House Mafia?
What I’d do is turn the Freeze knob on in your reverb with time set to the max. It might work to chop that latest word and paste it multiple times.
I think it’s just something you have to work out. Lot’s of reverb maybe a few extra channels where you do the same thing (duplication). Bounce it back to audio, Eq, do the same all over again…
very useful hint, daniaan
i’ll give this a go - thanks!
and yeah, i’m after an extended vocal effect, just like in Be, right
