Studio Monitor Stands

With a change in studio set up I’m moving my monitors from off my desk and onto monitor stands.

Now I’m in the process of finding the most suitable stands for my Rokit 6’s that aren’t too expensive.

Can anybody recommend any brand’s or types of stand’s they think might be suitable?

Thanks

samson ms100 - 57£ pair

studio spares komodo 400 - 42£ pair

Most stands are universal. They should work with most monitors.

:hehe:

Turn a couple of bins upside down on your desk and tilt them where you want. Much cheaper and does the job.

Bins?? You mean paper waste basket right? I can see bins being a serious problem in the low end

LOL, my bin is wicker so I am not sure it is suitable

Actually my monitors are up on bricks, south London style, although I do have Auralex foam pads between the bricks and the monitors.

LOL at S London style Bricks - when I lived there bricks were essential for a lot of my furniture

What is south london style & bricks - is it to do with Squats?

I was thinking of cars on bricks, like the wheels have been stolen.:Whistling:

Have any old textbooks?

My first year engineering books are the perfect stand. Turns out I do have a use for linear algebra

That’s crying out to be pushed over lol

Things are so bad - they would nick the bricks as no one can afford to run a car :stuck_out_tongue:

We cant afford bricks over here anymore…

Have to use a 5:1 part mix of red headed women & asylum seekers to suspend the vehicle.

What happens if the ratio is reversed by mistake?

Just start again… The materials are in plentiful supply

I think SA should make a tutorial for this.

Im selling my Quiklok stands brand new
