I’m currently using vxt8 but moved to a much smaller room and want to get a new pair of monitors to the budget of approx 1000. I’m quite good at getting a good deal so I think 1200 range max would get me a pair at 900/1000br

I produce trance prog and techno styles and want a nice warm punchy monitor. My room is approx 4m x 4m and I’m quite close near field. br

What would you go for and why. I seem to be looking at genelec focal adam a7x dynaudio possibly even the vxt 6. I will consider anything but I will have these for the next 5 years so want to make the right decision. br

Please please help as there are so many Ive got so lost especially reading so many discussions online. br
