I am just about to buy some budget studio monitors for my set up, but I am not sure which ones to get? A friend said go for these KRK RP6 br

I used to have a pair of Rokit RP8g2s and they were really great. I learned a lot using them and they had a great sound. I ended up selling them because they overpowered my space though.br

Have you done anything for the room you are in?
I haven’t treated my room as of yet, but I am hoping to do this later down the line for sure. br
I am probably going to buy the KRK 6, thanks for your advice

I’m pretty satisfied with the KRK’s. But you have to keep in mind the size and the dimensions of the room. No use to get large speakers for a small room.
Def a good starting point, its always good to look out for how low they can go too unless you plan on buying a sub… all partial to what actual music you produce though but im assuming its electronic/dance?br

Like alrady stated room treatment is probably the most important aspect here though.

He is referring to treating the reflections in the room to produce a flat frequency response.br
