Hello,

concrete walls are especially difficult, as you say you need to absorb the sound within the room. you have a couple of options; you can either buy some pre made absorption panels or you could build them yourself using rockrool (or similar).

for bass specifically you will need bass traps, they come in a few flavors; resonant panel, helmholtz etc, again these can be pre-built or made.

there are a lot of other things you must consider within your room such as modes, flutter echos, ITD etc but how far you go into depends on your budget and effort really. if you want to no a bit more on the other things you might want to think about give me a shout!

good luck!

Thanks alot!

Well i mesure room and its 3.9 long and 3.6 wide, room has carpet.

i was searching on internet and i think my absorb budget is about 900 eur

i fast google absorvation and found this

Auralex Acoustics Roominators D108L-DST Burgundy – Thomann Sverige

hello,

your dimensions will most likely be a probably as well, as they are pretty much the same distance, they will support roughly the same fundamental frequency (about 88Hz in your case) and will both ‘add’ acoustically and make a prominent peak in the frequency response. make sure this is tackled in your acoustic treatment i would guess that this would not be part of the aurelex package-seems like a very general package-i would urge you to calculate as much as you can about you room and your needs and purchase/make the treatment you need.

all the best.

just thought your rt60 must be absolutely massive!!! are all the wall bare concrete?!

sorry what you mean by rt60.

well yeah all 4 walls are bare concrete, its in basement so i have a small window and 2 wooden doors, i will measure better put it down on papper this weekend.

thanks for tips

Rt60 is the time it takes for the sound to decay by 60dB-the reverb in the room. If you can give me some more details on the room; length, width, height, demensions of all of the the different materials-ie size of door windows ect. And I can give you a better idea of what steps to take. Also is it a rectangular room-ie symetrical or is it an odd shape?
