Subs and Bass Traps

So I am putting my room together. I’ve built bass traps, and added acoustic foam to walls. I have three bass traps of 1200 x 600 in the corners I have room for them. In the fourth corner there is a door, so what I have done is built one that is 1200 x 300 and hung it length ways above the door, which helps a little, but is still a bit boomy. I am wondering if I built another full size bass trap and placed it directly behind the sub, (the door is almost at a right angle to the sub at the moment) would it help? The listening position sounds great. I’ve also raised the sub off the floor by two foot. I’ve also added some of the mineral wool to the door in 3 small blocks covered by acoustic fabric, hoping this may help, but I am unsure if its doing anything, maybe due to there not being a gap between the door and the mineral wool.br

Some advice would be gratefully appreciated.br

Thanks

If the listening position sounds good then you are done IMO… my room is really bassy in some corners and behind my speakers but it sounds great in the at the listening position so i don’t worry.

Ok, that’s great. Thanks Phil. Lets hope it translates into my mixing getting better
