I am working my way through my first course which is the HSTL Electro House and have come to the “creating a bsaaline” tutorial and have to use the Sylenth VST. Is this something we have to purchase outside of our subscription or is it included? Also, do we need to use the Sylenth or is it possible to use another VST. And lastly, if we have to use the Sylenth is is used throughout other courses too or will I need to purchse other VSTs???

it’s worth the purchase. You could use any vst but it’s just easier to follow the tutorial if you’ve got the sylenth

As mussi81 said, Sylynth is used in the tutorials so it would be easier to work with and follow when going through the courses. I would recommend Adventus as a possible alternative. It’s more focused on the trance sound but can generate sounds for various other genres. Depending on your budget it may be beneficial if your limited as it is cheaper. I’m not sure if this would interest you but there are demo sounds and a video to look at on the website.
