Now a Live 8 and Sylenth user but…
When I load some of tutorial project file that comes with some of the downloads it says it cannot find the vst? I though vsts were PC? I think mine is installed as a AU.
you have to let live scan for vst in you vst folder.
LIVE>PREFERENCES>FILE FOLDER>PLUG-IN SOURCE>USE VST PLUG-IN SYSTEM FOLDER

I’m confused with VSTs and AUs and RTSA?? Can you use them all with a MAC but not with a PC?

VST is Mac and PC stienberg format (standard)
AU is a Apple format logic
RTSA is Also Mac and PC protools format i think
MAS is for Digital performer
DXI i think is still a format, used for FL and sonar i think
