So basically, Ive made a track that Im really happy with (and 2 more on the way) and I would like to see the response that Labels have. I dont really care that much if they take it or not, I just want to get my name out there and see their response. But my question for you guys are, should I try contacting labels or should I see if they come to me? If I go after them and they dont like it do I have less of a chance later if I send more? Or should I wait until I have like an EP with multiple songs? if you say the contact label, what would your method of contacting them (Phone, Email, Mail, Website, ETC)?
Thanks for the help! If you have any helpful tips that is not part of what I said please add it too, Thanks!
P.s. The track in question is in my sig (disregard the shaker’s loudness in the beginning, its already been fixed)
well dude, I would suggest putting two or three tracks together and sending them off as an EP. I would suggest testing the waters with a few bigger companies that release similar music to yours. Try to look up who the A&R person is at the label. There was an amazing link about what to do in this situation and it was an “all you need to know” type deal. Ill post the link below. hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, ill deff check out that link. And this brings up another question. So like I said I have 2-3 other songs on the way but they are actually in different genres (Electro, Fidget, and Dub) To get variety (and to see what im better at). So should I put an EP out of with 3 or so tracks of only the same genre, so dont mix and match?

ehhhhhhhhhhh… I dunno dude. The issue is this. If you made, for instance, a progressive trance track, and you made a dubstep track. There really is not many cross genre big labels. They are mostly known for a specific type of music. I might package them together if they are close, i suppose.
