really liked the percussion/drums in the first one but the second one is the one

I’d agree with that.
The first one sound like most of the sounds are too tight in the middle of the stereo field. Have you panned the drums around much? They all kind of sound on top of one another. Good sounds and groove but on top of each other if you see what I mean.
Loved the second track.
Thx for the feedback. Well, the first one is actually a work in progress from the tech house tut, will take in mind the unpanned business, as for now I’ve been mixing in my cans. The 2nd track is actually my signature, glad you enjoyed it!!
