Cheers Jamie, I was actually trying to do this in Cubase recently with fabfilter’s pro G but I think I need to invert the gate or something, didnt sound right or maybe I’ll use cubases midi gate - not 100% but wil be trying it again no doubt



btw I love fabfilter’s stuff, its ace!

Nice tip, it should help a lot of the trance producers out, also I was wondering Jamie if you could take a look into classic trance melodies of taking a chord progression and arpegiating it up for a massive trance riff. Ive been messing around with it and you can get some cool results but its too random it would be nice to know how to plan it out a bit and know the theory behind it.



You musy be busy though and I understand this but mabey if your ever stuck on what you want to do a vid on or something…

Is there any way to get things like this stickied or consolidated to they are easier to find? i’ve been looking for an EQ video done by someone a few months ago and can’t find it for the life of me… and unfortunately, searching for something as general as "EQ or “equalization” renders endless results…
