Using Ableton’s scale mode, along with the Chord MIDI effect, we can easily simplify the writing process to stay in key and generate various progressions. Once we print our chords to MIDI, we can then create inversions, bass lines, and arpeggiated lines all from choosing a basic scale to work from.
